Ittanmonme

I will introduce food that I eat at "Ittanmonme." Each blog post will tell about foods I ate and recent news from pubs and cafes.

When I and my friends went there in September, they were holding a live music event. This pub holds live music once a month. They invited  foreign singers for the live concert and they sang many English songs. The guests sang and danced together, so we danced together, too.

Afterwards, we ate many foods while we were listening to their songs. We told the cook that we would like to eat light food, because we had already eaten. The cook made "marinade of cuttlefish (aoriika) with  orange." This dish is not on the menu, but the cook created it especially for us.

This photograph shows "marinade of cuttle fish."

Finally, we ate dessert. It was roasted tea (houjicha) pudding. This is an autumn menu item that was introduced in September. There is caramel sauce on the pudding, and an apricot in the dish. This dessert is sweet and delicious. It is my favorite dessert on the autumn menu.

We had a good time:)
